<strong>regenerative cellular<\/strong> (or simply cellular)<strong> therapy<\/strong> is associated with stimulation of cell-based tissue regeneration by transplantation of stem cells or their associates with somatic cells.<\/p>\n<p>The second direction is to restore the integrity and functions of tissues and organs with the help of so-called<strong> biomaterial-based tissue regeneration<\/strong> (TIC), which includes the following components:<\/p>\n<p>1) cells capable of forming a functioning extracellular matrix;<\/p>\n<p>2) a suitable biodegradable carrier (matrix) for cell transplantation;<\/p>\n<p>3) bioactive molecules (cytokines, growth factors) that exert a biostimulating effect on the cells of the damaged tissue.<\/p>\n<p>As a cellular component, cells of various types and different origins are used, including embryonic progenitor cells (progenitor cells), multipotent mesenchymal stem cells (MMSC), and differentiated (specialized, tissue-specific) cells.<\/p>\n<p>Autologous or allogeneic differentiated cells are obtained by biopsy, cultured in vitro and transplanted to the site of injury.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technologies of tissue and regenerative medicine<\/strong> can be divided into three groups:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Biostimulation of regeneration of patient tissues with the help of bioactive materials;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Cell therapy &#8211; the use of stem cells or signal biomolecules to stimulate the processes of tissue regeneration;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
